Information For Patients

We are conveniently located at several locations throughout Queensland.  These are the Wesley Private Hospital, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, St Stephen’s Hospital Hervey Bay, Mater Hospital Rockhampton, Springfield Specialist Suites, and Pulse Oceanside Specialist Suites. This allows easy patient access through purpose-built health campuses.  Each site has various options for patient parking (fees may apply), including disabled parking.  Lifts for easy access to & from consultation suites, and a dedicated drop-off area at the front of the buildings all exist. The co-location with radiology, pathology, & other medical service providers means your health can be taken care of all from one place.

Parking at Wesley Medical Centre


The Wesley Hospital has a large multi-storey car park with 1000 public parking spaces located within the hospital grounds. The car park is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed from Chasely Street. Disabled parking spaces are available on each car park level closest to the main hospital building. There is a patient drop-off/pick-up zone just outside the main entrance for your convenience.

Visitors to The Wesley Hospital can park in the multilevel car park and pay at the visitor rate before leaving. The Wesley car park uses licence-plate recognition software to automatically record your entry time and calculate your parking fee. You will not receive a paper ticket. Maximum car park height is two meters.

Parking is available onsite across our hospital with free 24-hour parking, however can become busy during peak periods. Public parking is available in adjacent streets, and notice of relevant constraints and restrictions should be noted at time of parking. Parking access via Spencer Street and Jessie Street.

Appointments

  • We have very friendly and experienced support staff who will be more than happy to answer your enquiries over the phone. We often find this to be much more efficient and satisfying experience for our clients.
  • This line is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays).
  • If you would like to make an appointment, please ring our office on 07 3371 0500
  • Likewise, please ring the office directly if you would like to cancel an appointment or a procedure to avoid a cancellation fee.

What to bring to your appointment

  • Your GP or specialist referral
  • Any x-rays or scans that you have had previously
  • Copies of your recent sleep study or CPAP download if applicable
  • A current medication list and any allergies that you may have
  • Your Medicare Card
  • Your Health Care Card or Veterans Affairs Card if you have one

 

Lung function preparation instructions

All patients are asked to refrain from the following before their test:

  • Smoking (1 hour)
  • Performing vigorous exercise (1 hour)
  • Consuming alcohol or caffeinated drinks (4 hours)

Patient Portal

The Patient Portal is a secure area hosted by Clinic to Cloud that provides access to some of the information held by Qld Respiratory and sleep.

The Patient Portal allows you to do the following:

  • Enter and save personal details
    Enter Medicare and Private Insurance details
  • Confirm appointment
  • Change appointment
  • Cancel appointment
  • Upload your Patient Referral provided by your doctor and previous results
  • View and print information and documents uploaded by the practice
    View and print invoices

If you are a new patient, please email us on ‘reception@impactmedical.com.au’ and will create a Patient Portal account for you and then provide login credentials via email.

If you are a returning patient, we suggest you login to your Patient Portal account, using the credentials you were originally provided via email.
